RAIN-1 NJ JACKAL-0

The game so intense that many of the people forgot who was playing. But i remember. I remember the single water drop that started the endless rain and ended the game and dreams of little kids. All i can remember is the billions and billions of rain drops falling on my head as i made it to the dugout to get something to chew. But even the cold, wet hot dogs couldn't make me forget how bad was the weather was. There were puddles so deep that many people started to play slip-n-slide on the tarp covering the infield! But there was a good part to the game, we got white and yellow ponchos in which we carried our food, and i got cheese all over mine! In the end we all had fun and got to ride in the MSU Campus Bus which was pretty cool! Keep it real and keep it here with The Dig!

Red Bulls give Write on Sports a look at their game!

Write on Sports got a chance to look at the practice for the New York Bulls and ask players and coaches some questions.  We were first drawn to the practice that the Bulls had and players like Juan Pablo Angel made an impact on soccer players in the camp. We then had a chance to interview some of the players like Luke Sassano who told us that he loves to work with this team and that he thinks this is going to be there year. Then assistant coach Richie Williams told us about the team and its philosophy and how he got the team to go from last place, to fighting for first this season. And then Danleigh Borman, a former resident and native of South Africa explained to us about team work and how he was very happy that the World Cup was going to be in South Africa, and that he would love to play for Manchester United if he had a chance (but then again who wouldn't!) When asked by fellow camper J.D. Fogarty about who they wanted to win the World Cup, all of them replied, without hesitation, Spain. It was something that everyone enjoyed, even though the walk to and back from the field was pretty long. Keep it here and keep it real with The Dig!

Donovan McNabb's trade to the Redskins

Probably the biggest free agency move in the NFL, Donovan McNabb has been with the Philadelphia Eagles for 11 years and now has to switch jerseys with another NFC East rival the Washington Redskins. This means that Kevin Kolb will be the starter for the Eagles and Michael Vick is now in second string. People are saying that the Redskins got a good deal and that Donovan McNabb will like the Mike Shanahan offense. With two great receivers in Randel El and S. Moss, and a running back like Clinton Portis, Donovan McNabb has many options to go to on that team. Another significant option that McNabb has with the Redskins is a receiving tight end in Chris Cooley. These things can help him or just make him want to go back to the Eagles even more. Lets see where this leads us. Keep it here and keep it real with The Dig!

Bruce Harper and Jenny Vrentas give WOS a taste a sports interview!

Today former New York Jets return specialist and running back Bruce Harper and a writer for the Star-Ledger Jenny Vrentas, did a small interview about the life of Mr. Harper as a Jet. The kids in Write one Sports had the chance to question both of them in the format of a press conference and a format that was like questioning a star in the locker room. We got great responses and both sides of the mike, the interviewer and the interviewee. Write on Sports got a great taste of what happens in an interview with a star and we hope to keep getting more information like that. Keep it here and keep it real with The Dig!
